Introducing Mrs. Utecht

As many of you know, I will be going on maternity leave sometime soon. The baby is due May 9th....but we can't say for certain when she will actually decide to make her appearance :-) While I am gone, Mrs. Dani Utecht will be teaching in my place. Below you will find her introduction that also includes her email address.

Hello, my name is Mrs. Utecht. I will be subbing for Mrs. Bronkema when she goes on maternity leave. I was born and raised in Merritt and graduated from Houghton Lake and Michigan Tech before I moved to Northern Virginia for a few years. While there, I earned a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Virginia and taught middle and high school math.

In 2000, my family moved back to Michigan and I decided to stay at home with my boys. I have been teaching math online for Kirt land Community College and night classes on campus for Baker College in Cadillac since then. This year my youngest son is in kindergarten so I am able to work in the schools again. My three boys are Zach – 5^th grade, Alex – 3^rd grade, and Matthew – kindergarten. I love to read, watch school sports, play board games, and spend time with my family.
