Editing Quiz

You will copy and paste all of this text into a NEW Word document.  It will be called "Editing Quiz".  Then, you will READ & follow the directions for editing and then delete them!  In the end, all that will be left is your own typing. 

Write your name at the top of the page and left align it (that means it will be in the upper left corner.  Also, make it bold and underlined.

Write about yourself in the next paragraph.  Don't forget to indent every paragraph and to use two spaces after each period.  Also, make all of the text in this paragraph green.


Write about something funny that happened to you some time in the past.  Make the text centered.  Change the font size to 16 points.


Write about what you thought sixth grade was going to be like and what you think of it now in this paragraph.  Make the text italicized.  Also, go back and change each of the first three paragraphs to be a different font.  All three fonts should be easy to read and have lower-case and capital letters. 



Make a list of 12 of your favorite things.  Figure out how to use bullets (those dots at the beginning of each line that you see Mrs. Bronkema use in her Powerpoint). 


Finally, insert a picture or WordArt at the bottom of your page.


**Extra credit:
1) Figure out how to change one of the paragraphs to have two columns. 
2) Change the margins of the paper to be 0.5 on each side, top, and bottom.
3) Insert a table with two columns and 8 rows.  Use the first column for each hour of the school day and the second for your class schedule.
4) Insert a graph of anything you choose.
